Abstract

The second edition of the book “The Time of the Traumatic”, by Felícia Knobloch, illustrates the strength and relevance of writing, arising from the author's clinical sensitivity and dexterity in traveling the paths of theory and psychoanalytic technique regarding trauma in psychoanalysis. Relying on fundamental contributions from philosophy and literature, she develops its reading on the time of trauma based on the contributions of Sándor Ferenczi, providing her reader with consistent questions about trauma as an event capable of promoting different forms of existence for the subject, as well as a resource to rethink the meanings given to time.
