Psychoanalytic clinic with children operates within fundamental and foundational times of the psyche, calling psychoanalysts to a precise and ethical practice, given the importance of their interventions for the subject’s future. Silvia Bleichmar, stemming from Freudian metapsychology, constructs a solid and profound theoretical-clinical proposal on the original times of psychic constitution. The objective of the present study is to present an excerpt of these and their intertwining with child psychopathology, emphasizing the importance of the human other in psychic constitution and recomposition, as well as the libidinal nature of childhood suffering fundamental issues in the current context, which tends to weaken subjectivity.
