Interview with Renato Levin-Borges

Abstract

The theme of this edition of SIG Revista is "violence and destructiveness". In the last months, we have witnessed acts of extreme violence against children and adolescents in Brazilian school communities. Murders, abuses, threats and outright attacks, most of which have been planned via the internet, have left family members frightened and professionals concerned about understanding and, with this, creating networks and resources that can try to contain the growth of this wave. The idea is that we can think of ways of dealing with this scenario of racist, xenophobic, misogynistic and neo-Nazi expressions, in short, of hatred and destruction. To this end, we are counting on the reflections of interviewee Renato Levin-Borges.
