Psicanálise e democracia is a book that allows the reader to reflect on the dizzying aspects that are currently at the center of the public debate on democracy. Organized by Andréa Mongeló and Pedro Mandelli, both psychoanalysts, the work discusses the effects of historical elements present in Brazil’s social body, social phenomena that have been transforming the forms of discursivity and subjective construction, and also raises questions on clinical thinking and psychoanalytic practices.
